Sign Production & Installation

​

Zendavor Signs & Graphics is a custom sign and graphics company, serving the central Illinois area since 1986. We pride ourselves in the quality of our work, done right, every time. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, skilled and creative problem solver for our sign production and installation position.


JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Trimming, cutting & other various duties for producing signs & graphics

  • Mounting & laminating using a pressure roller system

  • Applying vinyl graphics to various sign materials, vehicles & other items

  • CNC routing of various sign materials (requires some basic computer operating skills)

  • Installing signs & graphics on-site at customer's location – interior and exterior

  • Servicing and repairing exterior signs - lighted and non-lit

  • Fabrication of signs utilizing welding and metal sheet work (no previous experience required)

  • Coordinating various projects and their tasks at a time (requires prioritizing & planning) – making sure production stays on schedule

  • Basic equipment maintenance

  • Utilizing equipment such as scissor lifts, forklifts, skid steers, etc

  • Clean-up of work area and warehouse - keeping it neat, tidy & organized\

  • Coordinating installations with customers


REQUIRED SKILLS

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Experience with vinyl graphics is a plus

  • Basic carpentry skills (how to use fasteners, power tools, installing posts, etc)

  • Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination

  • Current drivers license required with no restrictions

  • Not afraid of heights, within reason

  • CAD experience (Illustrator, CorelDraw, AutoCAD, etc) is a plus

  • Metal fabrication experience is a plus

  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs.


Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.50 - $29.00 per hour (based on experience)
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
